What do you do when your sick?

According to James 5:13-16. VS. 14, (MAIN FOCUS); CALLING FOR the elders of the church, the elders PRAYING OVER the sick person[diseased,weak,feeble,with no strength] Anointing him with oil...In the name of the Lord. VS.15 (MAIN FOCUS); The word sick in the Greek- kamno, primarily :"to work," hence, from the effect of constant work, "to be weary" In James 5:15, (RV, KJV) "(the) sick. " The choice of this verb instead of the repetition of (No.1)in regards to (vs.14,) see above on page 573 of the VINE'S COMPLETE EXPOSITORY DICTIONARY, is suggestive of the common accompaniment of "sickness," weariness of mind(which is the meaning to this verb), which not infrequently hinders physical recovery; hence this special cause is here intimated in the general idea of "sickness." Now this PRAYER OF FAITH "shall" [The word "shall" here is a future tense VERB.] (It is in regards to the finished work of Jesus. )Save the sick, ( Save means;in the Greek; the word SOZO means, TO SAVE and here it is used with a noun- SOTERIA WHICH MEANS SALVATION, IT COVERS A MATERIAL AND TEMPORAL SEASON OF DELIVERANCE FROM DANGER, SUFFERING ETC. "MADE... WHOLE" And the Lord will raise him up. RAISE- EGEIRO literally meaning, lifting up a person from physical infirmity James 5:15, "shall raise...up." AND IF HE HAVE COMMITTED SINS, [Commit],the word "POIEO" in the Greek means, "to do," "cause," ( to adopt a way of expressing by act the thoughts and feelings. It stands for a number of such acts, chiefly "to make, produce, create, cause,") to commit, of any act, a strong example... as of murder. THEY SHALL BE FORGIVEN HIM.( Based on the finished work of Christ)[Sin], the word from the Greek, "hamartia" means "missing the mark," but this etymological meaning (original meaning) is largely lost sight of in the NT. It is the most comprehensive term for moral obliquity- (Slant, Dishonest). It is used of "sin" as a sinful deed, an act of sin, here in this passage. VS. 16 (MAIN FOCUS)CONFESS YOUR FAULTS ONE TO ANOTHER, [Confess], the word in the Greek,"exomologeo" means, "out." The word is intensive, it is stronger than just admitting a sin, it is to "confess forth", "freely, openly," used here, "of a public acknowledgement or confessions of the act of sins. AND PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER, THAT YOU MAY BE HEALED. [Healed], the word "iaomai" in the Greek means, "to Heal" Here in this passage it has two meanings; (a)Of physical treatment,"Made Whole," (b) "Healed," figuratively, of spiritual "healing." THE EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN AVAILETH MUCH. [Effectual}, the word in Greek, "energio" Means, "to put forth power, be operative, to work" ( its usual meaning), is rendered by the verb " to work effectually," or "to be effectual," In James 5:16 the (RV) omits the superfluous word "effectual" and translates the sentence "the supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working," the verb being in the present participle form. Here the meaning may be "in its inworking," in effect produced in the praying man, bringing him into line with the will of God, as in the case of Elijah. [Fervent], the word in the Greek, "zeo" means "to be hot, to boil" with "deesis" means "supplication," translated,"effectual fervent prayer" " the inworking supplication," suggesting a supplication consistent with inward conformity to the mind of God. [ Righteous], the word in Greek, "dikaios" Means, "just," without prejudice or partiality, of the judgement of God, of His judgements, of His character as judge, of His ways and doings. [Availeth], the word in the Greek, "ischuo" means, in this passage, " to be of force, to be effective, capable of producing results. "avail" with reference to prayer. [Do you know who you are in Christ? Do you want to know more? Are you called to be a leader?]The answer to all three questions is YES.

Rendered Useless?

The word EFFECT in regards to (NONE EFFECT)... THIS WILL BRING UP A WHOLE LOT OF QUESTIONS IN A CHRISTIANS LIFE. Ask yourself something...Am I always doing everything in my own power? Is your MIND SET: I can do all things through me who strengthens myself? Seriously ask yourself this question. And then ask yourself, why am I here? SERIOUSLY....... MANY CHRIST FOLLOWERS ARE RENDERED USELESS. They are operating outside the blessedness of their salvation. They are negating the Cross of Jesus. They are no longer living by faith, they are back under the old covenant of law. Doing it all themselves, and what is so sad...they have totally bought into that lie once again. Which brings them to the point of being rendered useless.The bible says, they have fallen from GRACE.[ In Galatians 5:4 The word of God says[KJV]; Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.] I want you to think back to the day of your salvation for a minute, remember how free you were when you found out what Jesus did for you on that tree?[ 1st Peter 2:24,25.] Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray: but are now returned unto the Shepard and Bishop of your souls. Remember what He promised you? Beloved, when you understood what Jesus did for you, You realized He became sin for you... He was perfect, pure and innocent...Fully God and fully Man. He knew all your sufferings he was tempted and tried just as you are but without sin. He loved you so much that he gave up his life for you freely. He took ALL your sin upon His body and hung on the cross(The Tree) which the bible says; anyone who hangs from a tree is accursed of God. He became a curse... he took your curse upon himself. Which He did not deserve! [Deuteronomy 21:22,23. And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;)] He took our curse away! He took our place! He has made us free forever of all condemnation! [Romans 8:1 says, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit] He has only blessings for us now! You are free from the law of sin and death! He has made it completely possible to no longer be dependant upon ourselves for anything. COME ON !! Do not let the enemy trick you into believing once again a lie. Do not be of None effect, fallen from Grace. This makes everything that Jesus did for you rendered useless. He cannot bless you to the fullest, you will not even be able to see all the blessings He has for you in this mind set. I'm sure your spouse and children, family and friends are so lovely and wonderful and are to be counted as a huge blessing to your life, but in the condition of this mind set you will never be able to see them in this light. There are so many Hidden treasures available to you who are in Christ. [Ephesians 3:8-10] You will not be able to see it. Do you see yourself in a state of "Fallen From Grace." If you see yourself in this place, You have now been reduced to a state of inactivity, you are rendered useless, this means, to make of none effect...severed from Christ. I'm not talking about loosing your salvation, I do not believe in loosing your salvation. I do believe however what the word of God says in his whole context of scripture. Here Paul was talking about the yoke of bondage "The Law" You cannot have The Law, [Old Covenant] and the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ [ New Covenant] mixed up together... it is one or the other, not both. Your in bondage or you are free! what's it going to be?

Launching Professional Organizing Services

My newest venture would be Professional Organizing. I've been organizing my #one clients house recently. It has been the hardest most rewarding job so far for me! I have found organizing to be a deeply satisfying job on so many levels. It gives me quality time with my clients, I love one on one ministry so this feeds a need for me. I love cleaning so this is accomplished as well. I just love it when we can DE-clutter our lives by just pitching junk out. It is wonderful for my clients when they discover all the treasures they forgot they had. This will save them money in the long run, I find that people tend to buy the same things over and over. When I find these things it does start to make them think and rethink their buying practises. Then the simplicity and peace comes to me and my clients when it is all done and purged and put back together. Life is good! I'm currently launching this Professional Organizing portion of Home Girl Designs. I'm running a special for six months February-July 2010. The cost: $10.00 per hour. Endless Treasures...God's Wisdom on Display

This morning my studies led me into an anointing that was supernatural! Singing and prayer breaking forth into Adoration and Praise! The singing and tune was in a language of the angels... I had never heard it before! The words, a beautiful foreign language that my Spirit was pouring out to the Father. I was joined to the Fathers Spirit...The Great Holy Spirit... Praising Our Great
God and Savior King Jesus! He was moving in a new and glorious way inside my hungering heart! He was giving this dried up old vessel a new song! Just last week, I was telling him that I was bored with my walk...! I said,"There has not been any real growth lately for me Lord....! You know me Lord, I love to be moving along on my growth track and when I'm not growing or moving...Well, let's put it this way, I'm bored...Just then, I started to become aware of a stirring in my Spirit. The Holy Spirit was prompting me to pray for the anointing to start to reign down on me. I prayed in this way and the Spirit started to move. There are indescribable things that have been happening since I've prayed that prayer, things that start out to seem like no big thing start to blow up in front of me. If you know me, I will have stories to tell! He showed me he was moving... He is always moving![Jeremiah 33:3] I was just not tuning into the process until now. There is so much more for us. This morning a verse of scripture came jumping off the page for me In Ephesians 3:8[new living translation] it says; there are ENDLESS TREASURES AVAILABLE TO THEM IN CHRIST.[ has anyone ever seen the movie National Treasure?] Put it this way, that's nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18 b. "WOW" I thought, "I'm in Christ...! There are endless treasures for me..." Think about what that means for a second... If there are endless treasures for me why am I not tapping into these treasures more often? ANSWER: I'm not aware of God's truth for me in Christ Jesus. There are more and more treasures to be found, more strength and power to be tapped. The possibilities are endless!Everyday we should live by the treasure of the application of His word! It is alive and powerful! God's purpose in all this was to use the church to display His wisdom in it's rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. I ask you... "What does this mean for YOU?"Our earthly home is the place where we play out our lives. I can tell you there is much more going on here than what is just seen with our eyes or felt with our emotions. We can experience all these Endless Treasures because they are meant for us. They are God's grand purpose to display His Wisdom to the on lookers in the heavenly realms. This was His Eternal Plan, which He carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord. Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God's presence. By Grace. SUPERNATURAL WISDOM being made manifest through His word says; Supernatural Wisdom is not of this natural world. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes it is ridiculously awesome to think and meditate on. Don't be satisfied to live your life in the natural. Be SUPERNATURAL, You already are... if you have trusted in what Jesus has done for you on the cross. Tune in to what he wants to display through your life, It will show off His Wisdom to the unseen rulers and authorities. We will experience Endless Treasures which is given by His wisdom. We will bring praise, glory and honor to our King and the name of Jesus will be lifted up. The name of Jesus will draw all men unto himself. Through the treasures we display by His Wisdom people will come to know Christ. And Christians will grow in a more powerful joyous way.
